Nicknamed The Rockets and formally known as TS (Tim Sukazi) Galaxy, the club was established in 2015. They spent three seasons in the SAFA Second Division before acquiring the National First Division status from Cape Town All Stars in 2018.
On 18 May 2019, TS Galaxy secured their first major trophy, the Nedbank Cup, by defeating Kaizer Chiefs 1-0, thanks to a penalty from Zakhele Lepasa in the second minute of injury time in the second half.
This victory made them the first team from the lower division to win the Nedbank Cup and the first in South African football history to achieve this feat while competing in the National First Division.
The club participated in the 2019–20 CAF Confederation Cup but was eliminated in the play-off round by Nigeria’s Enyimba.
In September 2020, TS Galaxy acquired the Premiership status of Highlands Park and made their Premier Soccer League debut in the 2020–21 season, finishing in ninth place.
They host their home games at Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga.
