Msimango: We made some serious signings

TS Galaxy centre-back Given Msimango says the club will benefit greatly from their new signings this season.

The DStv Premiership club secured their top-flight football with some impressive performances at the back end of last season under manager Sead Ramovic.

They have continued that form into the new campaign with wins over Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United, while drawing with AmaZulu on the opening day.

The Rockets have added to their squad with just a few choice additions in Xola Mlambo, Sibusiso Vilakazi, Bernard Parker, and Keletso Makgalwa on loan.

As he prepares to face Golden Arrows at the weekend, Msimango explained to KickOff: “When you see players like that come in, it shows you how serious the club is about competing, so it’s only good for the club. They’re guys who have done it all and won trophies so their experience will help us a lot.

“Even though we’re mostly a young team, I also think we’re an experienced bunch with a lot of potentials.

“We’re trying to stay focused on the game ahead and not dwelling on the games we’ve played.

“We’re not thinking about Sundowns or Supersport. We’re focused on the next game.”
