Juventus vs Manchester City | Both Teams to Score at 8/10
Two underperforming teams will clash in Turin on Wednesday evening as Juventus host a struggling Manchester City in the Champions League.
With both sides languishing near each other in the league-phase standings, Juventus have repeatedly fallen short of converting draws into wins this season, while City grapple with a crisis of confidence.
The Citizens arrive in Italy having won just one of their last nine matches across all competitions, seeking to avoid an unwanted club record. They are also on a five-game winless streak against Juventus in UEFA competition—their joint-longest against any opponent—though this will mark the first meeting with the Bianconeri under Pep Guardiola.
Juventus, meanwhile, are coming off four consecutive draws in all competitions, making it seven stalemates in their last nine games. Despite this inconsistency, the Turin side boasts Serie A’s best defensive record, conceding only 10 goals and securing 10 clean sheets in 15 matches.
Injuries continue to plague both teams. For City, Nathan Ake and Manuel Akanji picked up injuries in last week’s victory over Nottingham Forest, joining John Stones, Mateo Kovacic, Rodri, and long-term absentee Oscar Bobb on the sidelines.
Juventus are without Nico Gonzalez, Weston McKennie, former City player Douglas Luiz, and ACL-injury victims Juan Cabal and Bremer. Andrea Cambiaso is also a doubt due to an ankle sprain.
For our bet of the day, we tip Both Teams to Score at 8/10
