TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic has called on his team to believe in themselves more as they bid to stave off relegation.
The Rockets are just two points clear of the DStv Premiership drop-zone with two games of the season remaining.
Only Swallows and Baroka are worse off, with Galaxy’s last two matches against Marumo Gallants in 11th place and 13th-placed Chippa United, who are just two clear of Ramovic’s side.
While the head coach insists he enjoys the pressure, he knows what it will take from his players to secure their top-flight status.
He said on the Daily Maverick: “I enjoy the pressure because I’m the type of person that enjoys taking responsibility.
“I’ve played all my life under pressure. I’ve faced pressure my whole life. Football is all about pressure. The pressure that we have in the football world is not compared to other types of jobs in the world.
“Everyone knows where we are on the log. I don’t have to emphasize that. The log is there to show.
“They understand that if we don’t get points, we will be in big trouble. If the players can’t handle the pressure, then they are in the wrong place.
“We have to work hard. We have to get that self-belief back. We will analyse our next opponents. We will come up with the proper game plan. We are ready for the tough fight.”
