Ronwen Williams says Bafana Bafana hope to give a “good account” of themselves in their international friendly with France on Tuesday night.
South Africa take on the world champions at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Lille where they will face a star-studded line-up including star Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe.
Bafana most recently drew with Guinea 0-0 in their last friendly match on Friday but Williams is confident of a result against Les Bleus if they are able to contain all of their players, and not just Mbappe.
He said in the Sowetan: “He (Mbappe) is one of the best players in the world, but we are looking forward to it.
“We want to give a good account of ourselves. We are not focusing on him, we are focusing on the French team as a whole, they have a strong team.
“But we believe in our qualities as a team and I am sure if we stick to our game plan and our structure everything will be fine for us.”
