TS Galaxy president Tim Sukazi says he has already found a successor for departing head coach Sead Ramovic.
The Serbian coach excelled for the Rockets last season, leading the club to a six-placed DStv Premiership finish, alongside a final appearance in the Carling Knockout cup.
But he has decided to take up an opportunity at Moroccan side Raja Casablanca, who won a league and cup double last season under Josef Zinnbauer.
Sukazi, who admits he was happy to let Ramovic depart his team, explained that he lined up a successor weeks ago, but fell short of naming his new head coach.
Sukazi said on Metro FM: “I won’t announce the name until he [coach] lands in the county.
“I found the coach three weeks ago. I work in anticipation, I’m not a reacter, when I see the situation I become realistic about it.
“So, it was anticipated that Sead Ramovic will leave. We couldn’t just sit; we decided to bring a new coach who is coming with a first assistant and a second assistant.
“And when Ramovic came to TS Galaxy, he didn’t have a track record; he had never been a head coach anywhere. The new coach has a UEFA Pro License, it’s a prerequisite to work at TS Galaxy.
“The coach will probably land in the next 24 hours because he got his VISA a long time ago.”
