Chippa United have released 16 players in preparation for the new DStv Premiership season.
The Chilli Boys ended the 2023/24 campaign in a respectable 12th place with co-coaches Thabo September and Kwanele Kopo at the helm.
It remains to be seen as to who will be in charge next term but that person/s is expected to have a whole new group of players after club chairman Siviwe Mpengesoi also promised a raft of new signings.
Leaving Chippa are out-of-contract Luvuyo Memela, Roscoe Pietersen, Loydt Kazapua, Azola Ntsabo, Siyabonga Nhlapo, Senzo Nkwanyana, Siphelele Luthuli, Darren Johnson, Menzi Ndwandwe, Andile Fakude, Kamohelo Mahlatsi, Diego Apollis, Khanyisile Mayo, Siseko Manona, Yurig Conwood and Andile Mbenyane.
Goodman Mosele will, meanwhile, return to Orlando Pirates following the completion of his loan deal, while Gadinkame Modise is headed back to Mamelodi Sundowns.
