Teboho Mokoena, born 24 January 1997, is a prominent South African professional footballer who currently plays for Mamelodi Sundowns in the Premier Soccer League (PSL).
Known for his versatility and defensive prowess, Mokoena has established himself as a key player for both his club and the South African national team.
His footballing career started out after joining SuperSport United’s football academy in the 2014/15 season and was promoted to the first team within the same season.
The Free State born-star has represented South Africa in all youth levels (U17, U20, U23) and featured for the U23 side during the 2020 Tokyo Olympic games.
Mokoena played a crucial role in helping Matsatsantsa lift the MTN 8 and Nedbank Cup trophy twice. Ahead of the start of the 2024/25 season, Mokoena signed a long-term contract extention with Mamelodi Sundowns.
