SuperSport United will make their final decision on a new head coach at Wednesday’s board meeting.
After firing coach Kaitano Tembo in April, Andre Arendse stepped in as caretaker coach until the end of the season and is hoping to be appointed to the position full-time.
Other coaches being linked to the job are – Fadlu Davids, Gavin Hunt, Benni McCarthy and Cavin Johnson.
In an interview with KickOff.com, Johnson said he was happy to be associated with the coaching position at SuperSport but had no idea who would get the job on offer.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen,” Johnson tells KickOff.com.
“If my name is there, I don’t know, I’m just happy to be associated with the job.
“We will just have to wait and see.
“To be a success at any football club, it depends on your philosophy and results, that’s the bottom line,” Johnson adds.
