REPORTS: DYLAN KERR RESIGNS AS MARUMO GALLANTS HEAD COACH

In a shocking turn of events, Marumo Gallants have reportedly parted ways with their head coach Dylan Kerr just 28 days after his return to the country.

The news was first reported by Sportswire.za on their X account citing that the Maltese-English tactician resigned with immediate effect after a meeting that was held on Monday where he voiced out his dissatisfaction on several matters.

The club wanted to add two other co-coaches to work alongside Kerr, but his disagreement with the plan led him to step down, according to iDiskiTimes.

Gallants successfully purchased the top-flight status of Moroka Swallows who opted for selling after facing a number of financial-related challenges and quickly announced Kerr as their coach for the 2024-25 season at a press conference that was held on 9 July.

The Bloemfontein-based team is in a race against time to find a replacement as we are a few days away from the start of the season. A number of free agents are on the market including Cavin Johnson, Lehlohonolo Seema, Brandon Truter and Dan Malesela.
