REPORT: SAMIR NURKOVIC EXTEND HIS STAY AT TS GALAXY

TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi has revealed that striker Samir Nurkovic will play for the DStv Premiership club next season.

The 31-year-old Serbian attacker joined the Rockets in September this year after finding himself without a club following his departure from Royal AM.

Nurkovic had moved to South Africa in 2019 when he joined Kaizer Chiefs and ended up playing 78 times, scoring 21 times and providing 10 assists.

During his time with Galaxy, the player has netted 10 goals in 27 appearances but his contract was set to expire at the end of the current campaign.

However, Sukazi has now tied Nurkovic down with a new contract.

Sukazi confirmed the news to FARPost, saying: “Nurkovic, we have already extended his contract.”

Higor Vidal and Bernard Parker are also expected to see their contract extended by Galaxy ahead of the upcoming league campaign.
