Ranga Chivaviro intends to improve on an underwhelming debut season with Kaizer Chiefs in the upcoming DStv Premiership campaign.
The 31-year-old former Baroka and Marumo Gallants striker netted four goals and provided one assist in 23 games in all competitions for Amakhosi.
He was snapped up by the Soweto giants after scoring 17 goals in 30 games for Gallants in the 2022/23 season.
The Soweto giants endured their worst finish in the club’s history under interim boss Cavin Johnson after dispensing with head coach Molefi Ntseki
Johnson guided his team to a massively disappointing 10th-placed and was relieved of his duties as the club started to search for a new head coach.
Chivaviro told iDiski Times: “Personally, I have faced a couple of challenges.
“I believe I have underachieved as much as there were challenges. But I’m a professional, and I know such things happen. I always work on the next day, and I do my best today, and hopefully, it’s enough.”
The player added: “Personally, I believe I can do better, and I am going to do better coming to the next season.”
