Pule Mmodi has not handed in a transfer request ahead of a potential move to Kaizer Chiefs, says the player’s agent.
The 29-year-old former Uthongathi midfielder joined Golden Arrows in 2020 and has gone on to make 61 appearances for the club, scoring 10 goals.
Last season he played 32 games in all competitions, with five goals to attract the attention of Amakhosi.
Speaking to GOAL, Solomon Seobe dismissed reports that his client was angling for a transfer.
He said: “No, I am not aware of that, it is not true. He is an Arrows player and he is currently with the team
“There is no agreement between the two clubs [Arrows and Chiefs]. Nothing has changed. He is still contracted to Arrows until next year.
“If there is no agreement, it means he will stay and honour his contract with Arrows. Then next year he would be able to sign with a club of his choice.”
