Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Nkosingiphile Ngcobo paid tribute to his teammates after being awarded the Premier Soccer League Goal of the Month for December.
Ngcobo netted a superb effort in the 2-0 DStv Premiership victory over Sekhukhune United.
But the 22-year-old Amakhosi academy graduate insisted that he only scored as a result of his colleagues’ efforts.
After receiving the award from Chiefs sporting director Kaizer Motaung Jr. on Tuesday, the player humbly said on KickOff: “I think it was a good goal but we created the goal as a team.
“The way we shifted and circulated the ball was very good and with Njabulo Blom finding me in the half-spaces, I was able to turn and finish.
“I think I was just there to finish but it was a well-worked goal from the whole team.”
