Limbikani Mzava says he is moving on from his release by DStv Premiership side AmaZulu.
The 28-year-old former Bloemfontein Celtic, Cape Town City, Golden Arrows and Highlands Park centre-back only joined Usuthu this past season.
He made two league appearances but was let go alongside, Neil Boshoff, Tapelo Xoki, Xola Mlambo, Luvuyo Memela, Philani Zulu, Tsepo Masilela, Kgotso Moleko, Henrick Ekstein, Abraham Majok, Thabo Qalinge, Siphelele Mthembu, Andre de Jong, Augustine Mulenga and Siyethemba Sithebe during a post season clear-out.
Mzava told FARPost: “These things happen in football. I enjoyed my time there. I was home, and the owner took good care of me, and as for the rest of other stuff, it is all part of normal football challenges.
“I wish them all the best and urge them to continue raising the brand of the team higher than where we left it. AmaZulu is like my second home. I look forward to reuniting with my former teammates on the pitch, although with a different team.”
AmaZulu have since announced the signings of Thendo Mukumela, Veluyeke Zulu, Riaan Hanamub, Dumisani Zuma, Augustine Kwem and Gabadinho Mhango as they build up to 2023/23.
