Baroka caretaker coach Morgan Mammila says his side still has a chance to secure their promotion to the DStv Premiership.
Bakgaga are bottom of the play-off group with just one point from their opening two games.
After losing 1-0 to the University of Pretoria, the Motsepe Foundation Championship side dispensed with head coach Dan Malesela.
They then installed Mammila to take over and he guided Baroka to a goalless draw with Richards Bay.
Mammila’s side are next in action against Tuks on Wednesday and finish up with a game against the Natal Rich Boyz next week.
Speaking ahead of the midweek clash, a bullish Mammila insists that it is too early to write off his team, despite being two points adrift of Tuls and three points behind Richards Bay.
He said on iDsiki Times: “Once I win on Wednesday you are all going to change the tune.
“Once we win on Wednesday everyone will now change the tune and say you’ve got a chance. For now, where we are now, you’ll say we don’t have a chance but we still have two games to go just like other teams with two games to go.
“It’s just two point difference with AmaTuks. We play wait and see all of them. If you ask them [Richards Bay] they’ll say no, if you ask Tuks are you in they will say no. Nobody is in now, Wednesday will decide who is in and who is out.
“It keeps us in contention. Remember if we win these two matches we are in although we’ll wait for them when they play on the 15th.
“But if they play a draw or whoever wins, we beat that one then we are in. It’s going to be tight; it’s going to be tight this season because they are scoring one goal, one goal. It’s going to be tight.”
