His breakthrough came after joining Liverpool in 2017, where he became a key figure in the club’s resurgence. Known for his exceptional speed, dribbling, and clinical finishing, Salah quickly made an impact, setting a Premier League record with 32 goals in his debut season (2017–18). He won the Premier League Golden Boot that year and again in 2019 and 2022. Salah also played a pivotal role in Liverpool’s 2019 UEFA Champions League triumph, scoring important goals throughout the campaign.

In addition to the Champions League, Salah helped Liverpool win the UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, and the long-awaited Premier League title in 2020, ending the club’s 30-year domestic title drought. He has been named PFA Players’ Player of the Year and won multiple African Player of the Year awards.

Internationally, Salah has led Egypt to the 2018 FIFA World Cup and two Africa Cup of Nations finals. He is revered for his humility, philanthropy, and commitment to promoting his country on the global stage.
