Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Kearyn Baccus’ agent has revealed that the Kaizer Chiefs midfielder will no longer be at Naturena next season.
Mike Makaab confirmed that Chiefs will not be renewing Baccus’ contract, which expires at the end of June.
The Australian citizen born in Durban was signed by Chiefs while Ernst Middendorp was in charge in 2019 but has seen his gametime increasingly shrink with the 30-year-old making only 12 appearances over the past season.
“Baccus is definitely not staying at Chiefs. They have not made an offer and they don’t see him as part of their future plans. We have to accept that,” Makaab told Soccer Laduma.
