Newly promoted Betway Premiership side, Magesi FC, made a significant splash in the transfer market on Friday, unveiling a 12-man squad that includes former Kaizer Chiefs winger Kgaogelo Sekgota and ex-Mamelodi Sundowns striker Gift Motupa.
The official unveiling took place at the Ranch Hotel near Polokwane. The team will kick off their debut season in the top flight with a mouthwatering Limpopo derby against Sekhukhune United on September 14, according to the draft Betway Premiership fixture list.
The list of new signings also features Wonderboy Makhubu who joins permanently from Sekhukhune United. The full list of Magesi FC’s new recruits is as follows: Menzi Ndwandwe, Kgaogelo Sekgota, Lebogang Mabotja, Wonderboy Makhubu, Bongani Mpandle, Jacob Everson, Gift Motupa, Tshepo Kakora, Limbikani Mzava, Sello Motsepe, Maloisane Mokhele, and Delano Abrahams.
