Zambian international striker Lazarous Kambole has made the switch from Kaizer Chiefs to Tanzanian outfit Yanga SC.
Kambole joined Chiefs in 2019 for a hefty fee but failed to meet the heights expected of him with the Glamour Boys ultimately not deciding to extend his contract.
The 28-year-old joined the Amakhosi from Zambian giants Zesco FC and had been linked with a move back but a return to his homeland has now failed to materialise.
Yanga SC official Hersi Said announced to the media that Kambole has signed a two-year-deal with the Tanzanian giants.
“We have reached an agreement with Kambole and his representatives,” Said tells KickOff from Tanzania.
“It’s a two-year deal. We agreed to terms, and the player is expected to arrive in Tanzania before the end of this week.”
