Jerry “Rhee” Sikhosana, a legendary South African striker, was born on June 8, 1969 and is currently a Hollywoodbets ambassador who chats all things PSL

Throughout his career, Sikhosana achieved numerous accolades. He won the 1993 Bob Save Super Bowl with Witbank Aces and earned 10 caps for the South African national team, Bafana Bafana.

Renowned for his exceptional goal-scoring abilities, he represented several top-flight clubs throughout his career, including Giant Blackpool, Witbank Aces, Orlando Pirates, Unnan Huangto, AmaZulu, Tembisa Classic, City Sharks, and Pietersburg Pillars.

Sikhosana’s journey to stardom began at Giant Blackpool in the early 1990s. His impressive goal-scoring record of 18 goals in 45 games showcased his talent and potential.

Nicknamed “Legs of Thunder” after a famous racehorse from a South African TV series, Sikhosana became an iconic figure at Orlando Pirates. His prolific goal-scoring during the 1990s helped the Soweto Giants achieve immense success.

While at Pirates, Sikhosana scored close to 80 top-flight goals and was a key member of their 1995 African Champions League-winning squad. He netted the decisive goal in the second leg of the final against ASEC Abidjan, making Orlando Pirates the first South African club to claim the continental title.

Furthermore, Sikhosana scored a hat-trick against Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto Derby, becoming just the third player to do so in the derby match (after Chiefs’ Ebison Mugoyo in 1975 and Pirates’ Henry Khumalo in 1981).
