Mamelodi Sundowns right winger Siyanda Ndlovu has enjoyed an impressive start to life at Chloorkop since completing his move from Golden Arrows at the beginning of the season.
The 24-year-old has quickly settled into the squad, making 10 appearances across all competitions while contributing two goals and an assist for the CAF Champions League holders.
Although he was introduced late in the match, Ndlovu played his part as Sundowns secured victory over Al Ahli to lift the FIFA Intercontinental Cup. The triumph was made even more memorable as it came on his birthday, marking the first trophy of his career with the Brazilians.
Reflecting on the achievement, an emotional Ndlovu admitted he was overwhelmed by the occasion.

“I don’t even know what to say, the way I’m so happy,” he said.
“And this happened during my birthday, it’s massive to me. I’m so happy.”
The Tshwane giants could now earn a mouthwatering clash against Paris Saint-Germain should they progress from their next FIFA tournament fixture, the Challenger Cup.
Ndlovu is already focused on adding more silverware to Sundowns’ trophy cabinet and hopes a meeting with the French champions is on the horizon.
“I’m looking forward to winning even more trophies this season. We have just started with this one, and it’s a special FIFA trophy, but we must go on to win others.
“We want to play PSG eventually and that’s where we’re going.”
