Goodman Mosele says Chippa are fighting for ‘good guy’ Morgan Mammila

Goodman Mosele says he’s delighted to have reunited with Morgan Mammila at Chippa United.

The 23-year-old Orlando Pirates midfielder was snapped up by the new Chilli Boys boss on loan for the current season.

He was on target against his parent club as Chippa drew 1-1 with Bucs on August 15 and has played in four of the club’s six DStv Premiership fixtures this season.

Mosele previously worked with Mammila at Baroka, where they won the Telkom Knockout trophy by beating Pirates in the final.

Speaking to iDiski Times, the player explained: “Being reunited with Morgan, well, we know each other. I know him and he knows me, so it’s really nice.”

Mosele added that he was surprised by the coaching abilities of Mammila, who worked at Baroka as CEO.

He said: “I don’t want to lie, I was surprised. Wow, so this guy knows how to coach, and can coach. But he’s a good guy.

“He makes our job easy because we know we are fighting for him as he also fights for us. He’s a good guy, he likes the guys and the guys like him, so everything is good.

“The way he gives everyone freedom, it helps the guys because they know they have a good coach who believes in us.

“Everyone’s job is easy and he’s the one who makes everything easy.”
