It’s only seven rounds in to the 2019/20 season and I’m bursting with excitement of how the Bundesliga’s progressing. Monchengladbach are now leading the pack after every team in the top half of the table dropped points besides Wolfsburg and themselves. There are a few entertaining clashes to look forward to this weekend. Let’s jump right in!

Friday 18 October
Eintracht Frankfurt 19/10
Draw 26/10
Bayer Leverkusen 5/4
(20:30)
I’m preparing myself for a goal fest on Friday night. Eintracht Frankfurt lie mid-table due to their lack of consistency but they remain unbeaten at home with two wins and two draws from four matches. Bayer Leverkusen have won two of their three travels and will feel confident in building on that. The last three matches between these sides have produced 15 goals at an average of five per game. I’m backing Both Halves Over 1.5 Goals – Yes – at 51/20.
Saturday 19 October
Leipzig 16/10
Draw 31/10
Wolfsburg 17/4
(15:30)
Leipzig played to a share of the spoils in a 1-1 draw at Bayer Levekusen last time out and will be eager to get back to winning ways. Wolfsburg remain the only unbeaten side in the league with four wins and three draws from seven matches. However, I’m backing that to come to an end on Saturday afternoon. The Red Bulls are tipped to capitalize on home advantage.
Dusseldorf 29/20
Draw 51/20
Mainz 17/10
(15:30)
Just two points separate Dusseldorf and Mainz with both teams bordering the relegation zone in the early stages of the season. The hosts are without a win in their last five games, including three consecutive defeats. Mainz claimed a hard-earned 2-1 victory away to Paderborn before the international break. Both Teams to Score – Yes – is tipped 5/10.
Union Berlin 29/20
Draw 24/10
Freiburg 7/4
(15:30)
Union Berlin have been dreadful in recent weeks with four losses in a row, scoring seven goals and conceding just twice. European hopefuls Freiburg have made an excellent start to the season and will be looking to maintain that form. The newcomers have been finding the going tough and are expected to struggle again this weekend. The away win is tipped.
Werder Bremen 21/20
Draw 26/10
Hertha Berlin 23/10
(15:30)
Werder Bremen have earned two impressive points in their last two matches, drawing 2-2 at Dortmund and 2-2 at Eintracht Frankfurt. Hertha Berlin have been in top form with three wins on the trot, scoring nine goals and conceding just twice. Five of the last six meetings has produced Under 2.5 goals and that looks a good way to go. Follow the trend at 29/20.
Augsburg 13/1
Draw 13/2
Bayern Munich 1/6
(15:30)
Augsburg have been horrendous of late with two losses on the bounce, scoring once and conceding eight times. Bayern Munich tasted their first defeat of the season before the international break, going down 2-1 at home against Hoffenheim. With that being said, the Bavarians will be out on a rampage and I’m expecting them to run riot. Back Bayern Munich to Score in Both Halves – Yes – at 5/10.
Dortmund 5/10
Draw 36/10
Monchengladbach 9/2
(18:30)
Dortmund started the season brightly but that form has slowly faded away with three consecutive stalemates. Monchengladbach have taken over the reins at the summit but in all honesty, it’s just a question of how long can they remain at the top. BVB might be scoring loads of goals but they are also shipping plenty. Their city-rivals will be looking to keep their spot at the top of the table, so tune in for a cracking contest on Saturday evening. Both Teams to Score – Yes – is well worth a punt at 5/10.
Sunday 20 October
Cologne 13/20
Draw 33/10
Paderborn 33/10
(15:30)
Cologne are placed second from bottom on the log with five losses from seven matches, scoring five goals and conceding 16 times. Paderborn are rooted to the foot of the table and remain the only team in the league without a victory. Cologne were impressive last time out as they held Schalke to a 1-1 draw at the VELTINS-Arena. Back the hosts to edge the win.
Hoffenheim 16/10
Draw 49/20
Schalke 16/10
(18:00)
Hoffenheim and Schalke’s matchup on Sunday has the making to be an absolute humdinger. The hosts will be boasting with confidence after ousting Bayern Munich 2-1 at the Allianz Arena before the international break. Schalke are unbeaten in their last five games but were disappointing last time out as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home against Cologne. Hoffenheim should be backed to claim a narrow victory.
TREBLE @ 16/1
Freiburg Win 7/4
Werder Bremen vs Hertha Berlin Under 2.5 Goals 29/20
Hoffenheim Win 16/10
