German Bundesliga: Gameweek 19 Preview

German Bundesliga: Gameweek 19 Preview

Title-rivals Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich picked up where they left off with both teams coming away with hard fought but well-deserved victories against Leipzig and Hoffenheim respectively. The bottom four sides remained as they were with each team suffering defeat last time out. Round 19 looks valuable on the betting front. Let’s get to it.

Hertha Berlin 18/10

Draw 43/20

Schalke 16/10

(21:30)

Hertha Berlin are coming off a 3-1 win away to Nuremburg and have been decent on home soil. Schalke have been impressive of late with back-to-back victories and will be looking to make it three in a row. In the last six meetings, it’s always been just one of the sides that have found the back of the net. However, I’m predicting that to change here with both teams tipped to find the back of the net at 17/20.

Saturday 26 January

Borussia Dortmund 2/11

Draw 6/1

Hannover 12/1

(16:30)

Borussia Dortmund will look to extend their lead at the summit when they take on Hannover on Saturday afternoon. BVB remain unbeaten at home with eight wins from nine matches, scoring 29 goals and conceding just 11 times. Hannover are placed second from bottom on the standings and are without a victory on their travels. Get on the Home to Win Both Halves – Yes – market at 23/20.

Monchengladbach 13/20

Draw 3/1

Augsburg 38/10

(16:30)

Monchengladbach have maintained a 100% win-record on home soil with eight wins from eight matches, scoring 23 goals and conceding only three times. Augsburg have managed a mere three wins from 18 games and are winless in their last eight matches. This is my best bet for the weekend! I’m going large on ‘Gladbach to bag maximum points and will be adding to all multiples. Get on!

Freiburg 24/10

Draw 28/10

Hoffenheim 1/1

(16:30)

Freiburg and Hoffenheim will square off at the Schwarzwald-Stadion on Saturday afternoon. The hosts have been dismal so far and will be looking to revive their season. Hoffenheim have been inconsistent but have the quality to get up for the win. The last 11 meetings have been exciting to say the least with 43 goals scored between the sides at an average of 3.9 per game. It might be a tad of a left field call but I’m going for value. Take Both Teams to Score First Half and Second Half at a whopping 7/1!

Mainz 13/20

Draw 28/10

Nuremburg 4/1

(16:30)

Mainz returned to winning ways following a run of four matches without a victory after ousting Stuttgart 3-2 away from home last time out. Basement-dwellers Nuremburg are without a win on the road and have lost their last five games on the bounce. Another great bet with good value! Mainz have won the last five meetings at home against the relegation-candidates and are tipped to build on that. Back the hosts to capitalize on home advantage.

Wolfsburg 16/10

Draw 49/20

Bayer Leverkusen 16/10

(16:30)

Wolfsburg’s three-game winning streak came to an end last weekend after going down 2-1 at Schalke. Bayer Leverkusen were none the better as they lost 1-0 on home soil to Borussia Monchengladbach. This is another game which you are very likely to witness a goal fest so take advantage of it. The last 11 meetings between these sides have produced 48 goals at an average of 4.3 per match. The Over 2.5 Goals market is well worth a punt at 7/10!

Werder Bremen 16/10

Draw 26/10

Eintracht Frankfurt 15/10

(19:30)

Werder Bremen will be looking to build on their 1-0 win over Hannover when they welcome Eintracht Frankfurt to the Weser Stadium on Saturday evening. The latter also impressed last weekend with a 3-1 victory over Freiburg at home. This one could go either way. However, the last five encounters between these sides have seen both teams find the back of the net. Follow the trend at 6/10.

Sunday 27 January

Bayern Munich 1/11

Draw 9/1

Stuttgart 22/1

(16:30)

Bayern Munich have been in brilliant form with six wins on the spin, scoring 16 goals and conceding just twice. Stuttgart have been dreadful with three consecutive defeats and have lost seven of their nine travels. This can only end one way and that’s with the Bavarians running riot at the Allianz Arena on Sunday. Take Both Halves Over 1.5 Goals – Yes – at 15/10.

Dusseldorf 32/10

Draw 26/10

Leipzig 8/10

(19:00)

Dusseldorf have been in top form with four straight wins and will be hoping to maintain that. Leipzig have been inconsistent and have lost their last three matches on their travels without scoring and conceding five times. With that being said, I’m going to follow the newcomers who have been proving their worth. Get on the Home Win/Draw Double Chance at 19/20.

TREBLE @ 36/10

Monchengladbach Win 13/20

Mainz Win 13/20

Wolfsburg vs Leverkusen Over 2.5 Goals 7/10
