German Bundesliga: Gameweek 15 Preview

German Bundesliga: Gameweek 15 Preview

Round 14 of the German Bundesliga proved great for the betting front with yours truly tipping seven out of nine picks. Dortmund remain seven points clear of the pack, while Bayern Munich are just beginning to find some rhythm. With 20 gameweeks to go, a lot can change so let’s not get to hasty with outright picks just yet. For now, let’s see if we can find a few winners once again.

Nuremburg 26/10

Draw 49/20

Wolfsburg 1/1

(21:30)

Nuremburg find themselves placed 15th on the table and are without a win in their last eight matches, including five defeats. Wolfsburg have won two of their last three games and have been decent on their travels. They are coming off a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Hoffenheim. This one won’t be a walk in the park but the Wolves should do enough to bag all three points.

Saturday 15 December

Augsburg 17/10

Draw 23/10

Schalke 16/10

(16:30)

Augsburg are winless in their last five matches, including four defeats on the spin. Schalke have travelled dismally with just one win from seven games, scoring only five goals in the process. The last six meetings between these sides have produced 18 goals at an average of three per match. Both sides will be looking to return to winning ways which leaves us with an open game of football. The Totals – Over 2.5 Goals – market is tipped at 9/10.

Hoffenheim 19/20

Draw 31/10

Monchengladbach 47/20

(16:30)

Hoffenheim are undefeated in their last seven matches but have drawn their last three games. Monchengladbach have been immaculate on home soil but have struggled on the road this season with two wins from seven matches. Past meetings have seen plenty of goals scored between these two title-contenders. Get on the Both Halves Over 1.5 Goals market – Yes – at 39/20.

16/10 Stuttgart | 49/20 | Hertha Berlin 16/10 (16:30)

Stuttgart have scored just three goals at home, conceding 11 times and will need to be much more solid and organized against their opponents if they are to come out on top. Hertha Berlin have won back-to-back matches and will look to build on that. Four of the last five meetings have produced Under 2.5 Goals per game. With that being said, I will be following the trend at even money.

Hannover 9/1

Draw 52/10

Bayern Munich 1/4

(16:30)

Hannover are placed second from bottom on the standings with just two wins from 14 matches. Bayern Munich made it two wins on the bounce with a 3-0 hammering of Nuremburg at the Allianz Arena last weekend. The Bavarians to come away with all three points but I’m looking for a bit more value. Take the defending champions on the (-1) Handicap at 6/10.

Dusseldorf 16/10

Draw 23/10

Freiburg 17/10

(16:30)

Dusseldorf are rooted to the foot of the table with just two wins from 14 games, scoring 14 goals and conceding 32 times. Freiburg are off the back of an impressive 3-0 win at home against Leipzig and will look to build on that. That win would have given them a massive boost in confidence ahead of Saturday afternoon’s clash. Freiburg are tipped to edge the win.

Borussia Dortmund

Draw 4/1

Werder Bremen 57/10

(19:30)

Dortmund continued their march to lifting the Bundesliga title with a 2-1 victory away to Schalke, maintaining their unbeaten run in the process. Werder Bremen ended a winless run of five matches with a 3-1 victory over Dusseldorf. BVB have been nowhere near their best defensively but have still managed to outscore teams. With that in mind, the Matchbet & Both Teams to Score market looks a great betting option. Back Dortmund and Both Teams to Score – Yes – at 27/20.

Leipzig 4/10

Draw 39/10

Mainz 11/2

(16:30)

Following their 3-0 thumping at Freiburg, Leipzig will return to their fortress where they remain unbeaten with five wins from seven matches. Mainz have been inconsistent but have won back-to-back matches on their travels. As much as I love the football Leipzig play, after their dismal performance last time out, I’m expecting a bit of a lacklustre performance on Saturday evening. Mainz are tipped to hold the Red Bulls to a draw.

Eintracht Frankfurt 27/20

Draw 26/10

Bayer Leverkusen 37/20

(19:00)

Last but not least, Eintracht Frankfurt will play host to Bayer Leverkusen in what promises to be an entertaining affair. The Eagles have lost consecutive matches, while Leverkusen are unbeaten in their last three games. Frankfurt will be determined to get back to winning ways and Leverkusen will be hoping to build on their current form. Both Teams to Score is tipped at 5/10.

TREBLE @ 17/1

Hoffenheim vs Monchengladbach Both Halves Over 1.5 Goals 39/20

Freiburg Win 17/10

Dortmund Win & BTTS 27/20
