Defending Champions Bayern Munich made some ground on title-rivals Borussia Dortmund this past weekend after BVB dropped points with a stalemate against Hertha Berlin. Nonetheless, the Black and Yellow army remain unbeaten at the top of the table but could it be only a matter of time until the Bavarians regain control? Only time will tell. For now, let’s find out what round 10 offers on the betting front.
Friday 2 November
Stuttgart 17/10
Draw 49/20
Eintracht Frankfurt 15/10
(21:30)
Friday night’s hosts share the bottom of the log with newly-promoted Dusseldorf with just one victory from nine matches, scoring only six goals and conceding 21 times. Stuttgart have lost three on the spin and that doesn’t look likely to improve here. After thrashing Dusseldorf 7-1, Eintracht Frankfurt played to a disappointing 1-1 draw away to Nuremburg last time out. However, I’m backing the Eagles to get the win.
Saturday 3 November
Bayern Munich 1/11
Draw 17/2
Freiburg 22/1
(16:30)
Bayern Munich have won back-to-back matches and look well on their way to reclaiming top spot. Freiburg returned to winning ways last weekend with a 3-1 home win over Monchengladbach but will need to dig deep if they are to come out of this contest with a positive result. The Bavarians absolutely butchered Freiburg last season – 5-0 at home and 4-0 away. Take Bayern to Win Both Halves at 15/20.
Schalke 6/10
Draw 29/10
Hannover 9/2
(16:30)
Schalke have been disappointing to say the least but their defensive solidity was excellent at Leipzig last weekend and they will be looking to build on that performance. Hannover have managed just one win from nine matches. The Royal Blues are tipped to capitalize on home advantage as Hannover are winless on the road, scoring just six goals and conceding double that amount. Get on the home win.
Wolfsburg 29/10
Draw 28/10
Borussia Dortmund 17/20
(16:30)
Following a run of seven matches without a victory, Wolfsburg bounced back to winning ways in emphatic fashion with a 3-0 win away to a struggling Dusseldorf side. Borussia Dortmund would have been disappointed after dropping points at home against Hertha Berlin, drawing 2-2. The Wolves and BVB have both shown great goal scoring form of late. Back both teams to find the back of the net at 11/20.
Bayer Leverkusen 12/10
Draw 28/10
Hoffenheim 19/10
(16:30)
Bayer Leverkusen took Werder Bremen to the cleaners last weekend with a 6-2 drumming in front of their own fans. Hoffenheim were also brilliant with a 4-0 home win over Stuttgart, making it back-to-back victories. Last season’s encounters between these sides produced nine goals and I’m expecting another goal fest. Take both halves to produce Over 1.5 Goals at 23/10!
Augsburg 6/10
Draw 3/1
Nuremburg 17/4
(16:30)
Augsburg were excellent last time out with a hard-fought 2-1 win away to Hannover. Nuremburg did well to hold Eintracht Frankfurt to a 1-1 draw at home but have the worst record on the road in the league, scoring just once and conceding 15 times. However, I feel that last week’s stalemate would have given the newcomers enough confidence to pull off the unthinkable on Saturday afternoon. It’s a bit of a left field call but I’m going with Nuremburg on the Win/Draw Double Chance at 13/10.
Hertha Berlin 9/4
Draw 49/20
Leipzig 23/20
(19:30)
Hertha Berlin pulled off an impressive 2-2 draw away to log-leaders Borussia Dortmund last weekend and will be eager to build on that. Leipzig have struggled to find the back of the net of late, playing to consecutive goalless draws at Augsburg and then against Schalke last time out. A cagey but fiery affair is on the cards. I’m leaning towards Hertha Berlin capitalizing on home advantage at a valuable 9/4! Get on!
Sunday 4 November
Monchengladbach 17/20
Draw 17/4
Dusseldorf 13/2
(16:30)
Monchengladbach will be desperate to bounce back to winning ways following their 3-1 loss at Freiburg last time out. Dusseldorf have been dismal with five losses on the spin, scoring only twice and conceding 17 times. ‘Gladbach have won all four of their home games and should make it five in a row. Take the Borussians on the (-1) Handicap at 9/10.
Mainz 2/1
Draw 24/10
Werder Bremen 13/10
(19:00)
Mainz are winless in their last six matches, including four defeats. Werder Bremen have been excellent on their travels with three wins from their last four matches. The hosts were good last weekend despite going down 2-1 on home soil against Bayern Munich and can take plenty of positives from that performance. I’m expecting an end-to-end game of football with both teams tipped to score at 13/20.
TREBLE @ 8/1
Bayern to Win Both Halves 15/20
Schalke Win 6/10
Hertha Berlin Win 9/4
