Ederson Santana de Moraes (born 17 August 1993), simply known as Ederson, is a Brazilian professional footballer who currently plays as a goalkeeper for Premier League club Manchester City and the Brazil national team.
Considered one of the best goalkeepers in the world, he is known for his reflexes, passing, and ball-playing ability.
After finishing as a runner-up in the Taça de Portugal and Taça da Liga with Rio Ave in 2014, he returned to Benfica in 2015. He won two Primeira Liga titles and one of each cup before signing for Manchester City for £35 million in 2017.
He has made over 300 appearances for Manchester City, winning honors including six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, three EFL Cups, and the Champions League in 2023. He won the Premier League Golden Glove three consecutive times.
