AmaZulu will be determined to claim all three points from their DStv Premiership clash with Royal AM.
Usuthu were unable to see off Cape Town Spurs in their previous league encounter, drawing the tie 1-1.
It was just the second time this season, Spurs have picked up points, and it took a second half Celimpilo Ngema goal to secure a point for AmaZulu.
Pablo Franco Martin’s side had recently picked up wins over Golden Arrows and Sekhukhune United, while also narrowly losing to Stellenbosch and Mamelodi Sundowns.
They are currently in 10th place on the standings with 19 points from 15 games while Royal AM are in 13th with 18 points from 14 games.
John Maduka’s team last drew 0-0 with Swallows, following successive wins, over Spurs and Richards Bay.
Martin says he is happy with the number of points his team has already accumulated.
He explained on iDiski Times: “We had many problems with injuries. I think at some point we were robbed of decisions by referees, that’s a fact. We have been through many, many things.
“Despite all those situations, we are finishing with 19 points, I think it is something to be happy about.”
Maduka added: “Playing away from home is the most difficult thing in this league, hence I always preach to the players that we mustn’t lose home games.”
