Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro expects his side to bounce back from their CAF Champions League defeat with a big performance against Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Buccaneers went down 1-0 to Botswana Premier League champions Jwaneng Galaxy on Sunday.
A 21st minute Daniel Msendami goal at the Botswana National Stadium turned the tie in Galaxy’s favour ahead of the return leg on Friday 29 September.
But before then Riveiro’s side take on the DStv Premiership champions, and then Stellenbosch in the second leg of the MTN8 semi-finals where they lead 2-1.
The Bucs boss said in the Citizen: “It’s another important game for us just after three days. But it’s an opportunity for us to fix our mistakes.
“We have to forget about what happened in the last game and focus on what we have to do right in the next game. It’s a game against Sundowns and we have to make sure that we make our fans happy.
“The players are disappointed with the last result. They now want to make things right and the game against Sundowns gives us that opportunity to do that.”
Riveiro added: “We have to be at our best and we have to win all the duels in the field. It’s going to be a tough game, we know that. But we are capable of getting the positive result.”
