This will be the fifth-ever COSAFA Cup meeting between the two nations, with Lesotho claiming two wins and one draw in their previous four encounters. Namibia’s only COSAFA Cup win over Notsi’s men came in July 2007, when they secured a 3-2 victory at the Gaborone National Stadium. Namibia have failed to win their last five matches in the COSAFA Cup, losing twice and claiming two draws since a 1-0 victory over Mozambique in July 2022.
