Chippa United coach Morgan Mammila refused to hit out at the officials after his side were disallowed a goal in their goalless draw with Swallows on Wednesday.
Roscoe Petersen headed home for the Chilli Boys in the second half at the Dobsonville Stadium to seemingly hand his side a hard-fought victory.
But the assistant referee lifted his flag up for offside despite the ball coming off a Swallows player before Petersen struck.
But speaking after the game, instead of lashing out, Mammila told SuperSport: “When you score a clear goal and they say it is not a goal, my players need to understand that happens in football, they must not be demoralised when the referee does not give a decision for them.
“They (Swallows) played well, and we played well.
“They (Swallows) are a fast moving training, winning games left and right and we put that to a stop.”
