Richards Bay and Polokwane City both secured their place in the quarter-finals of the Carling Knockout Cup on Sunday.
In the first game of the day, Richards Bay claimed a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Swallows.
Abel Mabaso opened the scoring of this first round tie at the King Zwelithini Stadium on 15 minutes.
Gabadinho Mhango secured a second-half equaliser on 51 minutes but Yanela Mbuthuma sealed the win with his goal with 61 minutes on the clock.
In the only other cup clash to be played on Sunday, SuperSport United were thrashed 4-1 by Polokwane City at the TUT Stadium.
The scoring started with an Oswin Appollis effort on 21 minutes and continued in first half stoppage time through Rodney Maphangule.
Hlayisi then got in on the action with 64 minutes played before bagging a second goal with 15 minutes of the match remaining.
Terrence Dzvukamanja netted an 88th minute consolation goal for Matsatsantsa.
Richards Bay and SuperSport will now meet TS Galaxy, Orlando Pirates, Stellenbosch, Golden Arrows, AmaZulu and Sekhukhune United in the next round.
