AmaZulu have reportedly suspended left-back Sibusiso Mabiliso.
The 24-year-old defender is said to have copped a club ban for “off-field misconduct,” say FARPost.
Usuthu have begun an “internal investigation” into the incident and have issued him a “fine”.
According to reports, Mabiliso has stayed away from training for almost a month.
The player left AmaZulu in 2021 but returned to the DStv Premiership club last season.
This term he has played just three times across all competitions.
AmaZulu PRO Philani Ndlela has, however, said the player is absent due to injury.
He explained: “From what I know and what the Team Manager says, the player is out injured.
“Since the passing of Bongi [Ntuli], he was given the time off and he only returned for one day and picked up a serious injury.
“You can also confirm with his agent Basia [Michaels], I think she has the same information as myself.”
