AmaZulu FC plan on strengthening their squad ahead of the CAF Champions League group stages.

The KZN side have been drawn in Group B along with ES Setif, Horoya AC and Raja Casablanca.
In their first match, AmaZulu head to Morocco on 11 February where they will face Raja Casablanca.
In an interview with KickOff.com, AmaZulu director Manzini Zungu said they were excited to be playing in the prestigious Champions League for the first time in an event dominated by north African sides.
“For us, we are excited to be where we are and we have seen African football dominated by teams in the northern parts of Africa,” AmaZulu director Manzini Zungu told Kickoff.com.
“It’s an opportunity for us as a South African side to show our fellow African clubs what we are made, particularly when we host them in Durban.
“We are in the CAF Champions League to compete and compete to win.
“Everyone at this stage of the competition is very good.
“Yes, we can say we are happy with the draw because there are no pushovers at this level.”
Zungu confirmed the plan was to strengthen their squad ahead of the group stages during the January transfer window.
“If you look all the groups are evenly matched up, and of course, we’re playing against previous winners of the tournament but at AmaZulu we have experienced players,” Zungu said.
“We have a good team that has been assembled, and we are looking forward to strengthening our team even further for the Champions League.
“We don’t want to be competing just for a solitary season, we want to continue competing at the highest level at the Champions League,” he added.
