Zimbabwe face Nigeria in the semi-finals of the international four-nation Unity Cup in London from May 26 to May 30, that also includes India, and Jamaica.
Lunga was initally called up for the squad but has been allowed to remain with his club team, who are 1-0 up from their CAF first leg victory over AS FAR Rabat at Loftus Versfeld last weekend.
The two sides clash again in the second leg in Morocco on Sunday and Lunga will be part of the squad. He is just one of three players ruled out of the United Cup by the Zimbabwe Football Association.
