The quarter-finals of the MTN8 were confirmed following the final round of DStv Premiership fixtures for the 2023/24 season on Saturday.

League champions Mamelodi Sundowns had already secured top spot, but Orlando Pirates pipped Stellenbosch to second place in their final game of the recently completed campaign.

Coming in fourth were Sekhukhune United, with Cape Town City level on points in fifth place TS Galaxy, SuperSport United and Polokwane City complete the top eight, with Kaizer Chiefs missing out as they dropped two places to tenth following a 2-0 defeat to relegated Cape Town Spurs.

Sundowns will take on Polokwane, Pirates now face SuperSport, while Stellies meet TS Galaxy, and Sekhukhune play Cape Town City.
