AmaZulu coach Jozef Vukusic has confirmed that former Orlando Pirates defender Tshepo Gumede is surplus to requirements at Usuthu.
Gumede was signed on a two-year-contract by former manager Cavin Johnson at the end of last season, having been without a club since June 2018 when he was released by Cape Town City.
He has fallen down the pecking order after the sacking of Johnson, playing just twice since Vukusic’s appointment and now the Serb tactician has confirmed Gumede is not a part of the club’s plans.
“The question about Tshepo is that he is not in our plans. He’s not. That is simple and he knows,” Vukusic told Goal.
