Among the standout encounters is the KwaZulu-Natal derby between Durban City and AmaZulu FC, while teams battling relegation will also be desperate to secure positive results.
Here is a closer look at five key fixtures to watch on the final day of the campaign.
Durban City v AmaZulu FC
For Durban City, the objective is simple — secure a Top8 finish. City head into the encounter in eighth place on the table with 39 points, three ahead of both Stellenbosch FC and Siwelele FC.
A victory over neighbours AmaZulu at Chatsworth Stadium would guarantee City a place in next season’s MTN8 competition.
AmaZulu, meanwhile, are looking to finish the season strongly after collecting 44 points from 29 matches. Usuthu still have ambitions of ending in the top four and will want to close off the campaign with another positive performance.

Golden Arrows v TS Galaxy
Golden Arrows are another side aiming to finish comfortably in the top half of the standings. Abafana Bes’thende currently sit sixth with 40 points and will view a positive result as the ideal way to conclude the season.
For TS Galaxy, it has been a frustrating campaign overall despite flashes of quality. The Rockets recently stunned Mamelodi Sundowns with an impressive 3-2 victory and will head into this clash full of confidence.
However, a Top8 finish is no longer possible for Galaxy, who sit 12th on the log with 31 points.
Magesi FC v Richards Bay FC
Bottom-placed Magesi FC still have a slim chance of avoiding automatic relegation when they face Richards Bay FC.
Magesi, who have accumulated 21 points, need victory and favourable results elsewhere to move into the relegation playoff position. They will especially be hoping Orbit College fail to get a result against Orlando Pirates.
Richards Bay, currently 11th with 34 points, are safely clear of relegation danger but will still be eager to finish as high as possible on the standings.
Marumo Gallants v Stellenbosch
Marumo Gallants remain heavily involved in the relegation fight heading into their clash against Stellenbosch.
Gallants are 14th on the table with 24 points, level with Orbit College and only three points ahead of Magesi FC. A victory could prove crucial in securing their top-flight status.
Stellenbosch, on the other hand, are chasing a place in the MTN8. Stellies sit ninth with 36 points and know they must win and hope Durban City slip up to break into the Top8.
Sekhukhune United v Siwelele FC
Sekhukhune United have enjoyed another strong campaign and remain firmly among the league’s top sides.
Babina Noko currently have 43 points and could still leapfrog AmaZulu into fourth place with a victory.
Their opponents, Siwelele FC, are also fighting for a Top8 finish, making this one of the most important fixtures of the weekend.
With both teams chasing different objectives, the clash promises to provide another dramatic conclusion to the Premiership season.
