Mamelodi Sundowns are set to face Mbabane Swallows from Eswatini in the CAF Champions League’s 2nd preliminary round.
Swallows advanced after a 1-0 aggregate victory over Ferroviario da Beira, Mozambique’s champions.
Sundowns, exempt from the first round due to their high CAF ranking, joined other top sides like Al Ahly and Esperance Sportive de Tunis at this stage.
The first leg between Sundowns and Swallows is scheduled for the weekend of 13-15 September at Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium.
The return leg will be at Loftus Versfeld on 20-22 September.
Sundowns aimed to secure their place in the group stages for the tenth consecutive season, a testament to their consistent dominance in African football.
