Cape Town Spurs coach Shaun Bartlett is looking to strengthen his side after a woeful start to the new DStv Premiership season.
The newly-promoted team are yet to pick up a point after starting their 2023/24 campaign with five straight defeats.
While fellows promoted team Polokwane City have already picked up two wins, alongside three losses, Bartlett’s side have managed only two goals while conceding 10 times.
The manager has been given a show of support by club chairman Ari Efstathiou and speaking after losing 3-1 to Swallows on Wednesday, Bartlett explained his plans to dip into the transfer market.
He said in the Sowetan: “I don’t think our players are doing everything possible to focus on understanding the way we play.
“I think that’s a reality check. All the players have recognised also from a tactical point of view that more work needs to be done on every aspect of our players individually and as a team.
“I have been speaking to management to see if there is a possibility of bringing other players in certain positions that can help us.
“We need to find solutions as quickly as possible. There are only two weeks left till the transfer window closes.”
