Former Kaizer Chiefs and Stellenbosch FC striker Ryan Moon is reportedly set to join Maritzburg United after an ill-fated stint abroad.
Moon has been plying his trade with IF Elfsborg for the past year after two seasons at SuperSport United and Kaizer Chiefs.
However, the 29-year-old was unable to make an impression during his time in Sweden and is now set to return home.
“Former Kaizer Chiefs and Stellenbosch FC striker Ryan Moon is seemingly close to a return to the DStv Premiership after being offered a two-year deal by Maritzburg United.” an iDiski Times report read.
“He went on to win the Golden Boot award with seven goals in 26 appearances in his first season. However, he opted not to exercise the two-year option and leave to explore other options.”
