The Stallions lost 2-0 to the Buccaneers on the opening day of their top-flight campaign but went on to beat both Siwelele and Kruger United before being held to a goalless draw with Polokwane City.
Milford subsequently lost 2-0 to Mamelodi Sundowns, ahead of a goalless draw with Chippa United, but head into Sunday’s clash with Durban City on the back of a 5-1 thrashing of Richards Bay.
Pupuma’s charges are currently in fifth place on the league standings with 11 points from seven matches.
Speaking after their emphatic victory, an upbeat Milford boss explained that his team have a shared vision for success.
He said on Soccer Laduma: “I would say the first game against Orlando Pirates gave us the confidence and the belief that we can actually compete in the division and I mean we played against the league champs and we showed up.

“We dominated the ball and we gave them a headache and they were stressed and then we just built everything on that, and fortunately for me these boys have been together they would do anything for each other for a long time it’s easy to coach them.
“This is now the second full season with them, we’ve had half seasons before so they know what I want, how I want us to play and the sessions that we do with them during training they prepare for these kind of situations.”
