Oswin Appollis Nearing North African Move

Polokwane City’s rising star, Oswin Appollis, is on the brink of a lucrative transfer to North Africa.

The Bafana Bafana winger has caught the eye of several top clubs in the region following an impressive season with Rise and Shine.

Previously linked with domestic giants Kaizer Chiefs and Esperance Sportive de Tunis, Appollis has now emerged as a hot target for Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club, Egyptian powerhouse Zamalek, and Algerian contenders MC Alger.

The 22-year-old’s absence from Polokwane’s starting lineup in their MTN8 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns has fueled speculation about an imminent departure.

While coach Phuti Mohafe attributed the decision to tactical reasons, it’s widely believed to be a protective measure ahead of a big-money move.

Polokwane, who previously rejected offers from Taraji for Appollis, are now open to negotiating a transfer but have made it clear they will only consider deals from overseas.
