Orlando Pirates co-coach Mandla Ncikazi is aware of the threat posed by Maritzburg United to their CAF Champions League hopes.
While the majority of DStv Premiership clubs have completed their campaigns, Bucs still have three games to go as a result of their involvement in the CAF Confederation Cup final.
They start with 12th-placed Martizburg on Tuesday before taking on Royal AM and SuperSport United, with all nine points required to end in second position.
Pirates lost 1-0 to TS Galaxy in their last league game, while the Team of Choice were on the brink of relegation but recorded two wins and two draws from their last four matches.
Ncikazi said in the Citizen: “We have to be ready, another opportunity to get three points, let’s fight for the three points.
“The past is water under the bridge. Let’s look forward, we can only get three points on Tuesday, proceed and finish the season by winning the three games.
“We have Maritzburg United on Tuesday, who have won their past two games and they are very motivated, not an easy game. A high pressing team, it is not going to be easy, Pirates must show up, if they show up, Pirates will win the game.”
