There’s a shorter list of fixtures this round, with two matches postponed for unforeseen reasons.

Last weekend proved to be quite a profitable one if I must say so myself. Five out of six picks, plus the treble came in for the second time in three weeks. In the words of DJ Khaled – another one! There’s a shorter list of fixtures this round, with two matches postponed for unforeseen reasons. Nonetheless, I have a duty to fulfil and with the current form I’m in, it’s best to have a go! Let’s get to it!

Friday 30 June

36/10 Bray Wanderers | Draw 29/10 | Dundalk FC 13/20 (20:45)

Bray Wanderers made it back-to-back wins last time out with a hard-fought 2-1 victory away to Galway United. They will return to home soil on Friday night, where they have won five out of nine games this season and found the back of the net in 17 of their last 18 matches. Since suffering a humiliating 3-0 drubbing in front of their own fans at the hands of Cork City, Dundalk have claimed three wins on the bounce, scoring 12 goals without conceding. They have a terrific record against the Seagulls, with six wins from the last seven meetings. I’m backing Dundalk & Both Teams to Score at 39/20!

26/10 Drogheda United | 5/2 | Limerick FC 19/20 (20:45)

Relegation-threatened Drogheda United come into this clash without a win in their last nine matches, including four defeats and five draws. Back-to-back losses have seen them ship 10 goals whilst scoring just once. Limerick have lost 3 of their last four matches on the road, including consecutive defeats. However, they have shown plenty of fighting spirit and should get on the scoresheet here. Get on the Both Teams to Score – Yes – market at 6/10.

21/10 St. Patricks | 47/20 | Galway FC 49/20 (20:45)

St. Patricks and Galway will square off on Friday evening in a bottom-of-the-log clash. The Saints have the worst home record in the league with six losses from nine games but are coming off a hard-earned 2-2 draw away to Limerick. Basement-dwellers, Galway, are winless in their last 19 travels, dating back to May last year. St. Patricks have won nine of the last 11 meetings between the sides. A tight affair is on the cards but the Saints are tipped to make home advantage count.

Sunday 2 July

28/10 Sligo Rovers | 47/20 | Shamrock Rovers 19/20 (19:00)

Sligo Rovers have been absolutely dreadful with only three wins from 19 matches. They are without a victory in their last seven matches, including three losses and four stalemates and they will be desperate to utilize home advantage on Sunday evening. Shamrock Rovers have been impressive in recent weeks with three wins from their last four matches, as well as two wins on the spin. The away win looks well worth a punt at 19/20.

LAST WEEK’S TREBLE WON @ 5/1

Dundalk FC – Home To Win To Nil (7/10)

Shamrock Rovers (-1) Handicap (12/10)

Limerick vs St. Patricks – BTTS (13/20)
