Gavin Hunt says he is going to enjoy the festive break after his brief spell at Chippa United and has no plans for the immediate future.
Ever since Orlando Pirates were hammered 4-1 on Friday by Mamelodi Sundowns there have numerous reports doing the rounds linking Hunt to the head coaching position at Bucs.
In an interview with TimesLIVE, Hunt said he was unaware of any Pirates approach.
“I’m reading a lot about me in the papers, but not paying any attention,” Hunt told TimesLIVE.
Hunt said he now intends to enjoy a seaside holiday up the Garden Route by getting fit and relaxing.
The 57-year-old Hunt has won the Premiership title four times as a coach. At SuperSport United he won the PSL championships from 2007-08 to 2009-10 and then in the 2016–17 season won the title at Bidvest Wits.
He has coached eight clubs during a long career, namely – Seven Stars, Hellenic, Black Leopards, Moroka Swallows, SuperSport United, Bidvest Wits, Kaizer Chiefs and Chippa United.
