They have continued to grow their ambitions with a new sponsorship deal that gives the club “strong foundation for a partnership that can grow with meaning,” the club wrote.

AmaZulu are the second top-flight partner with Amstel, after Orlando Pirates reached a deal in August 2025.

“Today is an important moment for the club. We’re welcoming a new partner [Amstel], but we are also reflecting on what AmaZulu Football Club stands for and where we want to go next,” said club president Sandile Zungu.

“The standing that Amstel and AmaZulu Football Club enjoy today has been earned over time. Both understand that respect tells gold.

“This gives us a strong foundation for a partnership that can grow with meaning rather than simply visibility. It is not just about visibility. The strongest partnerships do not ask either side to become something else.

“They build on values both already recognised. This partnership creates an opportunity to add value where it matters the most – around the team, our supporters and the wider AmaZulu community.”
