Hunt: I’m looking forward to the challenge

Newly-appointed Chippa United manager Gavin Hunt

Gavin Hunt has played down suggestions that coaching a club like Chippa United will be a new experience for him.

Hunt is club owner Chippa Mpengesi’s 30th coach in nine years and the Chilli Boys ended the 2020/21 DStv Premiership season in 15th place, only securing their survival via the promotion/relegation play-offs.

He added: “No, no, no, no, I’ve coached many teams like this. – [Moroka] Swallows, Hellenic…”
