Deon Hotto says Orlando Pirates will go “all out” to win the CAF Confederation Cup trophy.
The Namibian attacker joined Bucs from Bidvest Wits in 2020 to win silverware and has already lifted the MTN8, while being named the club’s Player of the Season in his first campaign.
They ended in third place last time around to secure their place in the CAF competition, while they currently sit in seventh place on the DStv Premiership standings with three games to go – but with two games in hand over most of the teams.
Hotto though has his eyes firmly set on winning another trophy on Saturday, against RSB Berkane away at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Nigeria.
Hotto said on IOL: “When I joined Pirates, the aim was to come here and win silverware for the team.
“Last season, we won the MTN8 and this year everything is gone, the league, MTN8 and Nedbank Cup, and what’s left now is the Confederation Cup on Friday. So, we have to go all out.”
Hotto added: “As a midfielder, my mandate is to assist and score goals for the club. always. Help the team in defence and attack.
“So, there won’t be any difference on Friday night. I’ll go all out with my teammates and play the game to the best of my best of abilities.”
